Presented in this auction is an extremely rare T-1000 Terminator Motorcycle Cop (Extreme Battle-Damaged) Action Figure 2-Up Prototype, from the amazing line of collectibles based on the film Terminator 2, ALMOST brought to you from the fine folks at Palisades Toys!! This unique collectible is classified as a 2-Up Paint Master Pre-Production Prototype Sample!!! But this isn’t just ANY prototype…it is an UN-PRODUCED or UN-RELEASED product sample!!! Special Features and Info • Obviously the most important thing to note is that this T-1000 Terminator Motorcycle Cop Action Figure was never released by Palisades. It was originally intended to be a part of a Terminator 2 3.75-inch action figure line, but it was instead canceled when Palisades closed its doors. Note the thinner frame, especially in the torso, than what you are used to seeing on the Endo. This was going to be an in case variant, an extreme battle damaged version based on the look from the film's finale where Ah-nuld shoots a grenade into the body of the T-1000. • Some of the joints are glued in place, as are some of the parts, since this was not a pinned prototype. As you can see, the parts are EXTREMELY fragile, so if any parts are dislodged in shipping it is easliy re-attached and this was always common on shipping samples like these to various trade shows and locations and is not a defect. Returns will not be based on breakages and I will wrap it as well as I can during shipment. • Unlike most factory prototypes, a Paint Master Prototype is one of the rarest items you can get in the pre-production process! It is the hand-painted item that is created here in the United States and THEN sent to China for replication in mass production. • Some of the painting and sculpture would have had to be revised prior to production per licensor comments. • Note the size, around 8 inches tall, approximately 200% (A 2-Up) to the final projected size of a 3.75-inch to 4-inch figure line. The Star Wars figure in the photo is not included and is shown for scale only. • IMPORTANT!!! This is NOT a plastic toy for kids…it is a very rare prototype created of resin (a material used to make statues, etc.) and is not meant to be played with. It is fragile and some parts are glued in the process or are easily removable. • Most factory prototypes do not usually arrive to the manufacturer for review in retail packaging, and this does not either, but it WILL be carefully wrapped for shipment to your mantle! Limited Edition Only TWO of these items from this developmental stage were ever produced for the production review process!!! Prototype samples are not usually offered for traditional retail sale, nor will they be, as it is not reflective of the final product approved by the licensor but is rather just one step in the process of reaching that final goal.
