This box is designed for an newer collector, containing 4 of the most popular races found in the game (Federation, Klingon, Romulan, and Non-Aligned). There are NO rare cards included in this set, just an assortment of common, uncommon and some preview cards. This box set is designed to give newer gamers a chance to start collecting from the entire first edition collection without having to go out and buy individual packs or boxes. There are 2x and 4x copies of certain “powerful†cards in the game, these are common and uncommon cards that almost everyone seems to use in their decks so they tend to be real staples of game play. There are enough cards here to trade or perhaps split with a fellow gamer, but many of the cards that have multiple copies are cards that either need to be used in pairs or will be useful to have an extra copy of…all of these cards are in mint, unused condition and all could be kept as collectors pieces.
